About Reserveage Ultra Collagen Booster:

Ultra Collagen Booster with BioCell Collagen® and Dermaval™ represents a revolutionary innovation in beauty-from-within supplementation. Your body naturally produces three vital beauty proteins—collagen, keratin and elastin—that enhance beauty. Levels of these three beauty proteins diminish as we age, resulting in wrinkles, sagging and dry skin.

Ultra Collagen Booster combines two scientifically studied beauty powerhouses to nourish and protect skin from cellular aging. Dermaval helps support skin’s elasticity and firmness while BioCell Collagen with hyaluronic acid and chondroitin replenishes skin’s proteins and smoothes the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This advanced formula is further enhanced with Pro- Longevity Resveratrol Blend™ to promote youthful cellular activity.*

And our Founder and CEO, Naomi Whittel, winner of a 2012 Enterprising Women in Business Award, was named the Gold Stevie Award Winner as Female Executive of the Year of a consumer products company with 11 – 2,500 employees and the Silver Stevie Award Winner as Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

Raised in a family committed to biodynamic farming, Naomi’s heritage influenced her passion for natural products and inspired a quest to be first-to-market with products inspired by clinically researched ingredients and the world’s healthiest cultures.

Naomi founded Reserveage Organics in March 2009 with just four Resveratrol products. Achieving profitability after three months of operation, Reserveage Organics became one of the fastest growing natural products companies in the industry.

Raise your glass to healthy holiday drinks!

‘Tis the merry season to be drinking

What’s your pleasure?

Hot chocolate? Eggnog? Mulled wine or cider? Hot buttered rum? Wassail? Maybe a champagne punch?

Some even have healthy nutrients as well as psychological benefits—hot cocoa, eggnog, red wine or cider, for example. Cocoa is high in flavanols, eggnog contains a surprising number of nutrients in addition to calcium, and red wine can be healthy for your heart because of antioxidants called polyphenols, including resveratrol. You’ll find more good cheer about them below.

You know the soothing benefits of a drink that warms you as it goes down and relieves whatever anxiety you may be feeling at the moment. A glass of wine or a good strong drink may be just the antidote to a stressful family gathering as well.

All in moderation, of course. And just be aware. When you indulge in your favorite holiday cookies or candy, you know you’re eating more sugar, calories and fat than are good for you. But the calories in holiday drinks can sneak up on you.

Especially non-alcoholic eggnog. A cup contains 343 calories and 19 grams of fat. Consider eggnog a dessert rather than a drink, and try the light eggnog or silk nog instead. One cup of store-bought light eggnog contains about 240 calories and only five grams of fat.

A wine spritzer has only 72 calories, compared to 125 calories in a 5-ounce glass of red wine. An eight-ounce cup of cocoa with whole milk contains about 192 calories.

Keep your drinking healthy by limiting yourself to no more than one or two alcoholic drinks a day.

For a healthier cocktail, choose liquor mixed with club soda or water. The calories in sugary drinks made with artificial juice mixes and syrups quickly add up.

GOOD CHEER: Check out the nutritional benefits of cocoa, red wine and eggnog!

COCOA—Imagine drinking it like water. The Kuna indigenous people of coastal Panama did—up to 30 ounces a day—and a Harvard research team found they were able to maintain normal blood pressure and higher than average cardiovascular health as they aged. Keep in mind that they drank raw cocoa they grew themselves, sweetened with plantains rather than sugar. This was healthy cocoa compared to the commercially prepared cocoa mixes you find at the grocery store.

Their sacred practice of drinking cocoa regularly has taught us the value of this important flavanoid that’s part of the polyphenol family. Major university studies of cocoa offer evidence of how effective cocoa polyphenols are for supporting healthy heart, brain and immune systems.*

Coming soon to Whole Foods Market

CocoaWell® by Reserveage™ Organics is introducing an energizing cocoa that’s super-charged with our CocoaWell Proprietary Cocoa Blend, our Pure Plant Flavanol Complex (PPF Complex®) and Organic Chocamine® for supporting Whole-Body Wellness. PPF Complex is a proprietary blend of green tea and Acacia catechu that delivers the benefits of polyphenols such as catechin and epicatechin.*

Add a scoop of this delicious cocoa to enhance any favorite beverage or recipe and enjoy hot or cold.

RED WINE—Not to overdo it, but a glass a day can be beneficial for your heart.  This is because red wine polyphenols can increase your good cholesterol levels and help maintain healthy circulation.  Learn more about resveratrol at our other links.

EGGNOG—Rich in taste, calories and fat, it’s also rich in nutrients like beta-carotene, calcium, choline, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, retinol and selenium. Enjoy it in moderation.

Reserveage Organics and Naomi Whittel Earn Top Women in Business Honors

Founder and CEO Naomi Whittel and Reserveage™ Organics have earned the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and the organizations they run—The Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Whittel, who serves as Reserveage CEO, has been named the Gold Stevie Winner as Female Executive of the Year of a consumer products company with 11 – 2,500 employees. In addition, she is the Silver Stevie Winner as Female Entrepreneur of the Year, and Reserveage has been honored with the Silver Stevie award for Fastest Growing Company with more than 10 employees.

The honors were announced at the 9th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business November 9 in New York City.

When Whittel founded the company in March 2009, she came from a family committed to biodynamic farming. Whittel’s heritage influenced her passion for natural products and inspired a quest to be first-to-market with products inspired by clinically researched ingredients or from the diets of the world’s healthiest cultures.

Beginning with just four Resveratrol products, Reserveage achieved profitability after three months of operation and became one of the fastest growing natural products companies in the industry. Since then, Whittel has created three sister companies—ResVitale™, Re-Body® and Fembody™, as well as a sub-brand called CocoaWell®—each featuring science-driven products that have earned national media attention. The company has launched 145 science-based products and has won more than 20 industry awards for product excellence.

Whittel’s mission in starting the company was to build a sustainability-focused model based on a commitment to eco-farming practices and sourcing organic, Fair Trade-certified ingredients whenever possible.

A year ago, the company entered into a landmark business agreement with the indigenous Kuna of Panama, whose sacred practice of drinking cocoa daily—with documented health benefits—inspired its CocoaWell line featuring whole-food organic cocoa. This marked the first time the Kuna ruling chiefs allowed a company to use the Kuna people’s cultural likeness to promote a product.

Reserveage strives to be a democratic role model in the industry as well as the global community. The company earned a place on the 6th Annual WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces™ 2012. In addition, Whittel is dedicated to helping her fellow women entrepreneurs succeed. She created DAWN—Developing and Advancing Women in Naturals.

Wall Street Journal story highlights our Advanced Solutions Green Coffee Bean Extract

We’re delighted our Advanced Solutions Green Coffee Bean Extract is featured in an October 29 Wall Street Journal article about raspberry ketones.

What are raspberry ketones? And for that matter, what is green coffee bean extract, and how do both of these support healthy weight management?

First, the ketones—we use them to enhance our Green Coffee Bean Extract. These are the organic compounds that make raspberries smell like raspberries. We already know that raspberries are high in antioxidant properties, but a 2005 Japanese study of raspberry ketones found they had effective fat-burning properties. The researchers fed rats a high-fat diet and found that those who also consumed ketones gained less weight than those who had none.

Those findings were impressive, but as the WSJ’s Aches and Claims column notes, no major published study of human clinical trials on ketones exists to provide conclusive results.

WSJ interviewed our Reserveage Chief Innovation Officer Rob Maru, who agreed the Japanese study on ketones was encouraging but said more definitive research is needed. “As a stand-alone,” he said, raspberry ketones do not “comply with our standards” for sufficient human research.

But ketones can help support healthy weight management when combined with Svetol® green coffee been extract, the key ingredient in our Advanced Solutions supplement and the market’s only clinically researched green coffee been extract that is backed by human studies.

Supplementing with clinically researched green coffee bean extract can help you lose weight and reduce your overall body fat when combined with a healthy diet and exercise.

A clinical study published in 2006 showed that participants taking 200mg of Svetol twice a day before meals lost about twice as much weight as the placebo group over a 60-day trial period.

That’s why Reserveage™ chose to use Svetol® in our Advanced Solutions Green Coffee Bean Extract.

“A lot of weight loss supplements on the market contain large amounts of caffeine or other stimulants that can potentially give people unwanted jitters,” says Maru. “We chose Svetol® green coffee bean extract for our formula, in part, because it’s decaffeinated. Each serving contains about as much caffeine as a typical cup of decaf coffee.”

What about the coffee bean helps people lose weight if not the caffeine? “Researchers isolated a group of plant chemicals found in coffee beans called chlorogenic acids,” Maru explains. “Svetol® is formulated with a unique ratio of chlorogenic acids.”
Green Coffee Bean Extract works on three levels:

1) Its chlorogenic acids reduce absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine as well as2) inhibit a liver enzyme that helps break down fat. 3) Green Coffee Bean Extract helps maintain already healthy blood sugar levels, triggering the body’s ability to burn fat as energy.

We invite you to try our Advanced Solutions Green Coffee Bean Extract with raspberry ketones.
