He is board-certified by the American College of Nutrition, who holds a master’s degree in psychology and counseling and a PhD in nutrition. He is also the author of nine books on health, healing, food and longevity, including two bestsellers, The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth and Living Low Carb.

Reserveage™ Organics has named Rob Maru its Chief Innovation Officer. Formerly the company’s Vice President of Innovation and Brand Development, Maru has played a major role in developing innovative products for Reserveage, and has more than 15 years of experience in the natural products industry.
Maru has been the key innovator behind a number of Reserveage products recognized with industry awards—most recently, a 2012 Best of Natural Beauty Award from Better Nutrition magazine for Keratin Booster™ for Men. Other achievements include a 2011 Best of Supplements Award for CocoaWell True Energy™ from Better Nutrition magazine and a 2011 Editor’s Choice Award for CocoaWell from Natural Foods Merchandiser magazine.
