There are plenty of ways you can treat your skin – and yourself – in the comfort of your own home, and with ingredients you already have!
So raid your pantry, grab a glass of Pinot, and get ready to enjoy a spa night at home. It couldn’t be easier to make one of these amazing, all-natural skin masks.

Moisturizing Avocado Miracle Mask

Avocados are chock-full of proteins and vitamins that are great for your skin. Vitamin C, which is necessary for the creation of collagen and elastin, vitamin E, which has shown to reduce the effects of sun damage, and fatty acids, which help maintain moisture.

And at the rate they brown, what better way to get your money’s worth for over-aged avos than making you look younger!?

What you need:

  • 1 avocado
  • Room temperature egg white
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

  • Mash avocado until smooth
  • Mix with egg white and lemon juice
  • Apply to face and let sit for 20-30 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water and pat dry

Oatmeal to the Rescue

This breakfast staple does a lot more than just giving you your morning energy boost. Full of anti- inflammatory properties, a gentle, calming oatmeal mask is perfect for everyone, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Throughout the day, our skin is exposed to UV rays, chemicals, and pollution (among other things) and the antioxidants in oatmeal are ideal for reversing the damage of these aging gremlins.

What you need:

  • 1⁄3 cup plain, sugar-free oatmeal
  • 1⁄2 hot water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1-2 tbsp plain, unsweetened yogurt
  • Blender

Directions:

  • Add water to oatmeal and stir until plump
  • Mix yogurt and honey to the oatmeal and stir
  • Blend mixture in a blender until it becomes a thick paste
  • Apply paste to your face and let sit for 10-20 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water and pat dry

Beautifully Bananas!

Everyone knows bananas are full of potassium, but did you know the wonders potassium can do when applied directly to your skin?
Potassium moisturizes and gets rid of those pesky dead skin cells, and is amazing for dry, flaky skin.

This face mask revives your skin to reveal a fresh, dewy look.

What you need:

1⁄2 banana
– 2 tbsp honey
– 1 tbsp water

Directions:

  • Mash banana until smooth
  • Add water and honey. Stir.
  • Apply to face and let sit for 30-35 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water, pat dry, and finish with your favorite moisturizer

Spice It Up Mask

After a full week of errand-running (and world saving), your skin can be left looking tired and well… flat- out dull. That’s where this spicy cinnamon mask comes in. Cinnamon applied directly to skin stimulates blood flow, leaving you looking fresh, lively and ready to take on anything. This one is super simple.

What you need:

  • 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey Directions:
  • Combine cinnamon and honey in a bowl
  • Apply directly to face and let sit for 3-5 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water, pat dry and moisturize
